About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Technician to join our friendly and supportive team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will work closely with dentists and clinical staff to produce high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances in accordance with industry standards and clinical requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Designing, fabricating, modifying, and repairing dental prosthetics and appliances, temporary crowns, bridges, dentures, mouthguards, splints, and orthodontic appliances
- Interpreting and following written and digital dental prescriptions, impressions, intra-oral scans, and treatment plans provided by dentists
- Selecting, handling, and working with a wide range of dental materials including ceramics, acrylics, metals, zirconia, and composite materials




- Operating and maintaining dental laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all prosthetic work meets functional, aesthetic, infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance standards
- Liaising and collaborating with dentists and clinical team members to ensure prostheses meet clinical and patient requirements
- Maintaining accurate case records, production documentation, and material traceability
- Complying with workplace health and safety, infection control, and relevant Australian dental and regulatory standards

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in dental technology or a related field (Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience as a Dental Technician
- Experience in fixed and/or removable prosthetics
- Demonstrated ability to take a leadership role in guiding, mentoring, and training junior technicians or other clinical support staff
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a friendly, collaborative team
- Good communication skills with the ability to provide clear instruction and feedback
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with new dental technologies
