Senior Legal Counsel – Construction | Data Centres n
Our client is one of the more interesting builds in the market right now. A renewable-powered data centre developer with a rapid-growing AI cloud business. This isn't a "watch from the sidelines" legal role. It's in the middle of live construction, procurement and delivery decisions on some of the largest data centre projects in the region.
The Role n
Reporting into the legal leadership team, you'll be the construction law specialist supporting a major data centre build program end to end. Day to day, that means:

- Drafting and negotiating EPC and construction contracts for large-scale data centre and power infrastructure projects
n
- Managing risk allocation across contractors, engineers and equipment suppliers
n
- Advising on procurement strategy, variations and claims as projects move through construction
n
- Supporting site acquisition,
planning approvals and connection agreements alongside the broader legal and development teams
n
- Working closely with project delivery, engineering and commercial teams, not just reviewing paper after the fact
n
What We’re Looking For nn
- 10+ years' PQE, with a construction law specialism
n
- A mix of top-tier private practice training and in-house experience with a major contractor, EPC or developer
n
- Comfortable operating on complex, high-value infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders
n
- Someone looking to build a long-term home with a business that’s scaling quickly, not a stepping stone
n
