Use your Property Management training and compliance expertise to guide, develop and strengthen teams across the Reliance network.

Reliance Real Estate is seeking an experienced Property Management professional to join our Support Centre as our Training & Compliance Manager - Property Management.

This is a network-wide role focused on what matters most: developing great Property Managers, creating strong onboarding and training programs, and supporting consistent compliance standards across our offices.

Importantly, this is not a portfolio role and it is not a traditional Head of Department position.

You won’t be responsible for running individual rental departments. Instead, you’ll work alongside our Directors, Rental Leaders and Property Management teams to build capability, strengthen knowledge and help our people stay confident and current in an increasingly complex legislative environment.

What you'll be doing

Design and deliver structured onboarding for recent Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, Leasing Consultants and other rental team members.

Develop and maintain an ongoing Property Management training calendar across the Reliance network.

Deliver practical workshops, refresher training, coaching and development sessions.

Support Property Management teams to understand and implement changes to Victorian rental legislation and compliance requirements.

Develop and maintain training resources, procedures, checklists and practical compliance guidance.

Conduct targeted compliance reviews and identify areas where further education or training is required.

Work with office Rental Leaders and Directors to identify capability and knowledge gaps within their teams.

Coordinate relevant internal and external training.





Support consistent Property Management standards and best practice across the Reliance network.

Maintain appropriate training and compliance records and report on key themes, risks and development priorities.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who really knows Property Management, understands the realities of the job and enjoys helping other people become better at it.

We're looking for an experienced Property Management professional with strong technical knowledge of Victorian residential tenancy legislation and compliance, together with demonstrated experience training, coaching and guiding Property Management teams.

You may currently be working in a Property Management training, compliance, leadership or departmental management role and be looking for an opportunity to use your experience across a broader network.

You will be someone teams and leaders can confidently turn to for guidance – able to interpret legislative and compliance requirements, translate them into practical Property Management processes, and deliver clear and engaging training across different levels of experience.

You’ll ideally bring:

Significant Property Management experience, including experience at a leadership, training or compliance level

Strong and current knowledge of Victorian residential tenancy legislation and Property Management compliance

Demonstrated experience training, coaching and developing Property Management professionals

The ability to interpret legislative and regulatory changes and translate them into practical guidance, procedures and training





Confidence facilitating structured training, workshops and one-on-one coaching

Experience developing training resources, procedures, checklists and compliance materials

Strong written and verbal communication skills

The confidence and credibility to work with Directors, Rental Leaders and Property Management teams across the network

A current Victorian Estate Agent's Licence or Agent's Representative qualification

Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between Reliance offices as required

Formal training or learning and development qualifications would be highly regarded, but practical Property Management experience and the ability to engage and develop people are most important to us.

This is an opportunity to take years of Property Management knowledge and use it differently.

There is no personal portfolio, no requirement to step in as a relief Property Manager and no responsibility for the day-to-day management of individual rental departments.

Your focus is training, onboarding, compliance and capability development across the Reliance network.

You’ll be based primarily from our Support Centre in Point Cook and work across our network of offices, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact on how our Property Management people learn, develop and succeed.
