Peuker & Alexander are a leader in the supply of prefabricated timber wall frames and trusses to Victoria's building industry.

We are currently looking for a Work Health and Safety Officer to join our team. This is a great prospect for the right person!

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Maintain WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice
n
- Weekly inspections of the Campbellfield and Dandenong South plants
n
- Monitor use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures
n
- Assist with incident reporting at the production plants or on building sites
n
- Maintain WHS registers, training records and documentation
n
- Assist with return-to-work programs

Qualifications & Experience:

n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

n

n
- Certificate IV in WHS (minimum)
n
- Proven experience in a similar role
n
- Experience in a construction, manufacturing, logistics and/or carpentry company (desirable but not essential)
n
- Strong knowledge of the relevant WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice
n
- Ability to work independently and travel between work sites
n
- High level competency with computer software systems, particularly Microsoft Office applications
