ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We're looking for a positive, reliable Driver to deliver building materials to our customers safely and on time. You'll be part of our Transport & Logistics team, helping load, unload and deliver stock while providing great service along the way.

n

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

n

This role suits someone who is confident driving locally, enjoys working with people and is comfortable handling heavy building materials safely.

n

- Complete customer deliveries safely and on schedule
n
- Check goods against run sheets before delivery
n
- Load, move and handle stock with care
n
- Provide friendly service to customers and team members
n
- Operate vehicles, plant and equipment safely
n




- Make sure products arrive secure and in good condition
n

n

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

n

n
- At least 3 years' truck driving experience and a clean driving record
n
- DG dogging licence (desirable but not essential)
n
- Physically fit and able to safely handle goods
n
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
n
- Strong focus on safety
n
- Good knowledge of Cairns and surrounding areas
n
