Troocoo is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Team Lead. Based in South Brisbane, this opportunity will see you lead a hands on payroll team within a large and complex operational environment undergoing significant transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the payroll team, providing explicit direction, regular feedback and ongoing support
- Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of wages and salaried payrolls across multiple entities
- Review and approve payroll outputs, banking files and related payments
- Provide technical guidance across enterprise agreements, awards, payroll legislation and time and attendance
- Partner with HR, finance, operational sites and external providers to resolve payroll issues
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes,



improve accuracy and reduce manual work
- Support payroll system changes, testing and broader transformation initiatives
- Monitor payroll queries, outstanding work and service levels to ensure timely resolutionBuild effective relationships across the business and encourage accountability within the team

About You

- At least five years of end to end payroll experience within a complex organisation
- Previous experience leading and developing a payroll team
- Experience across both wages and salaried payrolls
- Sound knowledge of enterprise agreements, awards and Australian payroll legislation
- Hands on leadership style with a proactive approach to process improvement
- Experience with Preceda or Dayforce would be highly regarded

The successful candidate will be required to complete pre employment checks, including a police check and medical assessment.
