We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator

n

to join our client's team in Geelong. This is a key hands-on role responsible for supporting the day-to-day movement of materials and finished goods across the site, ensuring warehouse and logistics operations run safely and efficiently.

n

About the role

n

Working closely with the Logistics, Packaging and Operations teams, with a strong focus on forklift operations, loading and unloading trucks, stock movements and logistics administration. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment while also being confident working with systems, documentation and warehouse processes.

n

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

n

- Safely operating forklifts to load, unload and move materials and finished goods
n
- Coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, receipting and dispatch
n
- Managing warehouse and logistics workflows to ensure efficient operations
n
- Completing manifests, load documentation and logistics paperwork
n
- Coordinating deliveries and follow-up actions with internal teams and drivers
n
- Scanning delivery dockets and maintaining accurate system records
n
- Maintaining organised warehouse and logistics documentation
n
- Coordinating with Packaging and Operations teams on deliveries and production requirements
n
- Supporting accurate stock control and warehouse inventory management
n
- Managing pallets and recording pallet movements
n
- Using SAP, Excel to manage logistics activities
n
- Maintaining high standards of forklift, traffic and warehouse safety
n
- Supporting truck loading and unloading activities
n




- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality and efficiency
n
- Ensuring logistics records and documentation are accurate and up to date
n
- Working collaboratively with internal teams, drivers and stakeholders
n
- Taking ownership of day-to-day logistics operations and ensuring goods move safely and efficiently
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing
n
- Current forklift licence with strong practical forklift experience
n
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and managing warehouse movements
n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
n
- Confident using systems such as SAP, Excel
n
- A strong understanding of warehouse, stock control and logistics processes
n
- A proactive, safety-focused and solutions-oriented approach
n
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with drivers and internal stakeholders
n
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of day-to-day logistics operations
n

Qualifications and experience

n

n
- Current Forklift Licence - essential
n
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing
n
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
- Experience with warehouse and stock control processes
n
- SAP and Excel experience highly regarded
n
- Experience using logistics or inventory management systems
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Good communication and organisational skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
