We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Officer to join a leading steel manufacturer.

- $38/hr + penalties

What you need

- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics or steel fabrication
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to accurately read delivery documentation
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A current Forklift (LF) licence and proven experience handling steel products
- Full PPE (long sleeve hi-vis, steel caps, hard hat, and safety glasses)
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to workplace safety

What you will be doing

- Receiving, inspecting,



identifying and recording customer steel products
- Checking delivery dockets and purchase orders against goods received
- Inspecting incoming products for damage, contamination, rust, paint, and overall suitability
- Measuring and verifying product descriptions and quantities
- Preparing and attaching identification and special instruction tags to materials
- Accurately recording receiving information into the site's 'Visual Shop' system
- Reporting any damaged or non-conforming items to the Supervisor and communicating with customers regarding receiving issues
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised receiving area
