What You’ll Do

End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead civil and structural engineering projects from initial scoping and tendering through to design, construction, and final handover.

Financial & Risk Management: Establish and manage project budgets, tracking financial performance, forecasting variations, and proactively mitigating project risks.

Stakeholder & Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and local government authorities to ensure seamless project execution.

Team Coordination:



Mobilise and manage internal design teams, engineers, and surveyors to ensure projects hit technical milestones on time and within budget.

Contract Administration: Manage and administer engineering contracts, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

What We Look For

Qualifications: A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: minimum 8 years of experience managing civil infrastructure, land development, or structural projects—ideally within a consultancy environment.

Strategic Thinker: Solid commercial acumen with proven success handling project budgets, schedules, and contract negotiations.

Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Queensland regional council frameworks, approvals processes, and civil construction standards is highly regarded.

Software Proficiency: Microsoft office suite (word, excel and Project) and PDF editor.

Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people‑management skills, with a natural ability to unite diverse teams around a shared goal.
