Carpenter / Trade Assistant – Modular Building Installation

Ipswich / Bundamba | Monday–Friday | Full-Time

We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Carpenter, Roofing Tradesperson or experienced Trade Assistant to join a busy modular building installation team based in Ipswich.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, physical work and wants to be part of a team installing modular buildings on sites across South East Queensland.

About the role

You’ll work alongside an experienced installation crew, assisting with:

- Installing and joining modular buildings onsite
- Carpentry and general building works
- Roofing, flashings and external finishing
- Fixing, fit-out and installation work
- Using hand and power tools
- Loading/unloading and setting up onsite
- General trade assistance wherever the team needs a hand

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Carpentry,



roofing or general construction experience
- Trade qualification OR strong Trade Assistant experience
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Construction White Card
- Good physical fitness and a willingness to get stuck in
- Reliable transport and driver’s licence
- A positive, easy‑going attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a crew

You don’t need to have worked specifically in modular construction before. If you come from carpentry, roofing, sheds, portable buildings, construction or installation work, we’d love to hear from you.
