iCheck Building Surveyors & Consultants is a well-established and growing firm (est. 2012) specialising in residential, commercial, industrial, and aged care projects. We are seeking a motivated Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor to join our supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to learn directly from the Director, who has over 20 years of industry experience, while working across a diverse range of projects in a friendly and flexible work environment.

As a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor at iCheck Building Surveyors & Consultants, you will play an integral role in assisting with the assessment, inspection, and preparation of regulatory documentation for a variety of building projects. You will be supported by experienced surveyors while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

n

Review Class 1a and 10a building project documentation and prepare compliance assessment reports for senior staff review.

n





Assist with and attend site inspections alongside senior staff or independently.

n

Provide customer service and liaise with clients in a professional manner.

n

Prepare building permits and assist administration staff in processing documentation.

n

Requirements

n

Degree or Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying (essential).

n

Industry experience (preferred).

n

Strong attention to detail, IT skills, and willingness to learn.

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

n

Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.

n

Strong organisational and time management skills.

n

Team-oriented with a long-term career focus.
