This full time Solar Electrical Apprentice 1st, 2nd and 3rd year role at Split Solar Electrical Services' in Sydney offers a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills and expertise in the electrical trades and services industry, with a focus on solar energy solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and associated electrical infrastructure
- Undertake tasks such as wiring, panel mounting, inverter installation and system testing under the supervision of experienced electricians
- Participate in ongoing training to expand your technical knowledge and skills in solar electrical systems
- Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the business
What we're looking for
- Currently undertaking am electrical apprenticeship
- Robust interest and passion for renewable energy technologies, particularly solar power and battery energy storage systems
- Some solar exposure or relevant experience is preferred
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and develop your skills in the solar electrical industry
- Must be an Australian citizen
- Must have a drivers license and own vehicle
- White card and working at heights ticket
