The Chance

n

As a Neurological Physiotherapist, you will manage a diverse caseload and provide individualised rehabilitation based around each client's goals, lifestyle and functional needs.

n

You will work with people living with neurological conditions, age-related functional decline, mobility difficulties and post-hospital deconditioning.

n

Your day may include:

n

n
- Completing comprehensive neurological and functional assessments.
n
- Developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation programs.
n
- Providing one-on-one neurological physiotherapy in clients' homes.
n
- Working with clients to improve strength, balance, mobility and transfers.
n
- Supporting recovery following stroke, hospitalisation, injury or surgery.
n
- Prescribing and reviewing mobility and transfer equipment.
n
- Providing appropriate respiratory physiotherapy interventions.
n
- Supporting falls prevention and functional independence.
n




- Educating clients, families, carers and support workers.
n
- Working collaboratively with GPs, specialists, nurses and other allied health professionals.
n
- Tracking outcomes and adapting treatment programs as clients progress.
n

Your Caseload

n

You may work with clients experiencing conditions such as:

- Stroke
n
- Parkinson's disease
n
- Multiple sclerosis
n
- Acquired and traumatic brain injuries
n
- Spinal cord injuries
n
- Cerebral palsy
n
- Functional neurological disorders
n
- Neuromuscular conditions
n
- Movement disorders
n
- Ataxia
n
- Post-hospital deconditioning
n
- Falls and reduced mobility
n
- Age-related functional decline
n

What We're Looking For

n

We're looking for a Physiotherapist who combines strong clinical skills with genuine compassion for their clients.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- A recognised Physiotherapy qualification.
n
- Current AHPRA registration.
n
- Experience in neurological physiotherapy, rehabilitation, aged care or community physiotherapy.
n
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- The ability to work autonomously in community settings.
n
- A genuine interest in helping clients achieve meaningful functional goals.
n
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
n

New graduates or Physiotherapists transitioning into neurological rehabilitation with a strong interest in the field may also be considered.
