You will support individuals with Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) issues through evidence-based interventions grounded in the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery-Oriented Practice.

Key responsibilities

- In this position, you will coordinate and provide high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to improving health outcomes for clients engaged in the Opioid Treatment Program by promoting safety, dignity, and respect in every aspect of care delivery.

What you need

- You are a Registered Nurse who demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to delivering protected, person-centred care.
- With current registration through the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (Division 1), you bring a sound understanding of evidence-based nursing practice and a dedication to supporting individuals engaged in opioid agonist treatment.
- You have a strong grasp of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery principles, applying these approaches to promote dignity, safety, and empowerment in your clients.
