Epping Plaza Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Gaming Supervisor to join our professional team in an overnight graveyard shift role. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional problem-solving abilities, and can confidently oversee gaming operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise all overnight gaming room operations
n
- Ensure compliance with Victorian gaming, liquor, and responsible gambling legislation
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive guest relationships
n
- Lead, mentor, nurture, and support team members to achieve individual and venue goals
n
- Foster a positive team culture focused on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
n
- Monitor gaming floor activity and assist patrons with gaming machine enquiries
n
- Perform gaming, cash, and operational audits
n
- Conduct security and venue compliance checks
n
- Handle large cash transactions accurately and professionally
n
- Balance tills, process payouts, and maintain cash control proceduresPrepare and serve beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
n
- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and stock levels
n
- Promote venue memberships, loyalty programs, and current promotions
n
- Respond effectively to customer concerns, incidents, and operational challenges
n

About You

n

n




- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Supervisor or similar leadership role within a hotel, club, or casino setting
n
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- Strong cash handling, reconciliation, and auditing experience
n
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and support team members to achieve high performance standards
n
- Thorough understanding of Victorian gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
n
- Experience across gaming, bar service, wagering, and customer service operations
n
- Confident communicator with excellent leadership skills
n
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
n
- Highly reliable, organised, and self-motivated
n
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
n

Essential Requirements

- Current Victorian RSA Certificate
n
- Current Victorian RSG Certificate
n
- Current Victorian Gaming Employee License
n
- Availability to work overnight graveyard shifts, including weekends and public holidays
n

Desirable (Not Essential)

- TAB Accreditation (TAB Basics and/or Advanced)
n
- First Aid Certificate
n
