We are looking for a reliable and skilled Blind, Curtain & Awning Installer to join our team in Canberra.

This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for the qualified installation, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of internal and external window furnishing products across residential and commercial properties throughout the ACT and surrounding region.

You will represent our business directly in customers' homes and workplaces, so quality workmanship, attention to detail and professional customer service are equally important.

You will work closely with our office and sales teams to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, with accurate job information and updates maintained through our CRM system.

You will represent our business directly in customers' homes and workplaces, so quality workmanship, attention to detail and professional customer service are equally important.

You will work closely with our office and sales teams to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, with accurate job information and updates maintained through our CRM system.

Key responsibilities

- Install blinds, curtains, awnings, shutters and other internal and external window furnishing products

- Carry out servicing, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of installed products

- Complete check measures and site checks where required before installation

- Ensure installations are completed accurately, safely and to our quality standards





- Take care when working in customers' homes, businesses and on commercial sites

- Complete scheduled work efficiently without compromising workmanship or attention to detail

- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers

- Work closely with our office and sales teams regarding installation requirements, site issues and job progress

- Review daily schedules, job details and installation notes using our CRM system, Zoho

- Update job statuses throughout the day and maintain transparent, accurate notes for each installation and service visit

- Prepare and maintain the tools, materials and hardware required for daily jobs

- Keep the company vehicle clean, organised and appropriately stocked

About you

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can problem-solve on site and understands the importance of providing customers with a professional experience.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous installation, window furnishings or trade experience

- Strong practical and mechanical aptitude

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think practically on site

- Professional presentation and strong communication skills

- A reliable, punctual and organised approach to work

- The ability to follow instructions and learn new products and installation methods

- Confidence using mobile apps and CRM systems

- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team

- The physical fitness required for a hands-on installation role

- Confidence working from ladders and at heights where required

- A current Australian driver's licence

Previous experience installing blinds, curtains, shutters or awnings would be highly regarded; however, candidates from other installation or trade backgrounds with strong practical skills are also encouraged to apply.
