Are you an Osteopath looking for flexible, rewarding work that can fit around your existing commitments?

Due to continued growth, BodyRight Healthcare is looking for an Osteopath to join our community allied health team, supporting older clients to maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life.

This flexible contractor opportunity is ideal for an Osteopath wanting to add one to three days of community work to their week, diversify their caseload or combine community work with an existing private practice or clinic role.

You’ll enjoy plenty of independence, variety and time out in the community—without having to build a client base or manage everything alone.

About the role

You’ll provide osteopathic assessment and treatment to older clients in their own homes, helping them remain active, comfortable and independent.

No two days are exactly the same. You’ll meet people from different backgrounds, work in varied environments and build meaningful relationships with clients who genuinely value the support you provide.

Where possible, we group clients geographically to create practical and efficient patient runs and minimise unnecessary travel. A typical day includes approximately five to six clients, depending on location and availability.

Current areas of demand include Oakleigh, Dandenong, Berwick, Kew, Templestowe and Ringwood.

You don’t need to cover every area. We aim to build patient runs around your preferred locations, working days and availability.

Your work may include:

- Osteopathic assessment and treatment

- Musculoskeletal and chronic pain management

- Mobility and functional support

- Falls-prevention strategies

- Exercise prescription and self-management advice

- Supporting clients to maintain independence in their own homes

- Working collaboratively with clients, families and other health professionals

- Completing relevant clinical documentation

About you

We’re looking for an Osteopath who enjoys building relationships and providing practical, person-centred care.

You’ll need:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Osteopath

- Current First Aid and CPR

- Current Police Check

- Current Working with Children Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- Appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance

- Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills

- The confidence to work independently while staying connected with the team

- A genuine interest in helping older people maintain their mobility and independence

Most importantly, you’ll bring professionalism, curiosity and a positive approach to working with clients in their own homes.
