We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Estimator to join our team, based in Smithfield, NSW. The successful applicant will have extensive experience estimating electrical infrastructure projects, with a strong background in 132kV-500kV high-voltage substations. This role will also involve business development, client relationship management and supporting the preparation and submission of tenders.

Key responsibilities
n
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for high-voltage substation projects.
n
Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation.
n
Develop detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates and pricing schedules.
n
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and project stakeholders.
n
Conduct occasional site visits as required.
n
Support business development activities and help identify new project opportunities.
n
Attend client meetings and maintain strong professional relationships.
n
Prepare and submit tenders through platforms such as Felix and other relevant tendering systems.
n
Assist with project planning, scheduling and commercial assessments.
n
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office applications.
n
About you
n
A minimum of 5 years' experience estimating 132kV-500kV high-voltage substation projects.
n
Robust knowledge of electrical construction, high-voltage infrastructure and substation projects.
n
Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
n
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
n
Experience using tender platforms, including Felix and similar systems.
n
Strong client communication and relationship-management skills.
n
Experience contributing to business development and tendering activities.
n
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
n
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel occasionally for site visits.
