About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the friendly face and voice of our practice, helping to ensure every patient receives exceptional service from the moment they contact us.

Key responsibilities include:





Greeting patients warmly and professionally

Managing phone calls, appointments and enquiries with professionalism and confidentiality

Coordinating bookings and maintaining accurate patient records

Processing patient payments and claims

Ensuring the reception area remains organised, welcoming and efficient

Providing administrative support to our clinical team

Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a medical or general practice reception role (essential)

Relevant administration or healthcare qualifications/certificates (desirable)

Availability to work casual shifts Monday to Friday

Confidence using appointment booking systems, point-of-sale systems and electronic patient records

Experience with Best Practice software (highly regarded)

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, professional and patient-focused approach
