We're currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for mechanics or technicians looking for a stable, long-term position with variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to upskill into a specialised industry.

This is a hands-on field service role working on diesel and electric fire pump systems across Melbourne and greater Victoria. You'll attend a range of sites, carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and system testing.

This role suits candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, including:

- Heavy vehicle or mobile plant mechanics
n
- Industrial or maintenance fitters
n
- Pump or mechanical service technicians
n

n

Full training is provided - including fire systems, controllers, and compliance - so no prior fire industry experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Service and repair diesel engines, pumps, and associated equipment
n
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
n
- Carry out installation and replacement of pumps and motors
n




- Perform routine testing and inspections
n
- Complete service reports and job documentation
n
- Work safely and in line with compliance standards
n

What We're Looking For

- Trade or hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical work
n
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
n
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
n
- Good communication and a professional approach
n
- Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Flexibility with start times and occasional overtime
n
- Physically fit for manual work
n
