You will contribute to both short and long-term planning, setting priorities, maintaining team performance and cohesion, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across the work area.

Key responsibilities

- You will join a national network of Team Leaders responsible for leading work units that support the delivery of federal elections and referendums with integrity, transparency and professionalism.
- You will work closely with our State Office, National Office and colleagues across other states and territories.
- At the AEC, you will develop solid connections with colleagues and supportive networks, as we all work to deliver an impartial and independent electoral system with high integrity.
- We are seeking capable and adaptable leaders to guide teams responsible for divisional election planning, delivery and evaluation.

What you need





- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering large-scale projects or events within tight timeframes, including developing operational and project plans that align with legislative, policy and organisational requirements.
- Experience in developing and supporting team members to build capability, improve performance and achieve high-quality business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience delivering education, engagement or public awareness initiatives that support diverse communities, including First Nations peoples, in line with organisational priorities and strategies.
