About the role

- Part-time (0.4FTE) position (2 days per week)

- Maximum-term contract (parental leave replacement, commencing on Thursday 21 January 2027 and concluding on Tuesday 14 December 2027

- Deliver an engaging Digital Technologies Program for Prep to Year 6 students

- Work in a collaborative team of specialist teachers

Selection criteria

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

- degree level qualification or higher in education/teaching (essential) and qualifications in digital technologies (desirable)

- knowledge of and experience in delivering Australian Curriculum Technologies – Digital Technologies and General Capabilities – ICT

- knowledge and experience in delivering eSafety content

- knowledge of how to plan and teach a curriculum that develops future focused learning skills, with a particular emphasis on the areas of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication

- capacity to be innovative in the differentiation of learning experiences for students

- capacity to develop sustained and trusting relationships with staff members, students and parents

- commitment to collaborate with members of staff to build a team environment that supports student learning

- commitment to personal professional development

- understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Christian school education.
