This full time role will be responsible for bookkeeping services to support a construction business. You will be based in Wetherill Park, working four days per week.
Key responsibilities
- Month end closure
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
- Preparing monthly accounts and cashflow statements
- Preparing BAS statements for review by external accounting firm
- Processing payroll and superannuation
- Attending to ad hoc finance and administration matters
About you
- Ideally 10 years bookkeeping experience but will consider less
- Experience in the construction and property sectors
- Understanding of the nuances of the construction and property sectors from a finance perspective
- Proficiency in Xero and construction software.
- Self-starting with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work with colleagues and management
