Disability Support Worker - Bathurst - (Non Smokers Only)

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide full care and assistance to a 51-year old male with a spinal cord injury, he is ventilated at night via BiPap machine, this care will help him live in his family home.

Duties include but not limited to

- Ventilation and Tracheostomy management
- Full personal care
- Medication administration
- Continence management
- RIG feeding
- Assistance with Allied health tasks
- Cough assist machine
- Domestic tasks
- Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

- daily 8am-2pm (working with a second worker)
- daily 8am-3pm
- daily 3pm-11pm
- active night shifts 10pm-8am

Requirements:





- Applicants must have valuable English speaking skills.
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Current references
- Current driver's licence, vehicle registration and your own car with insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
- Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)
