We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join a large-scale Federal Government technology environment delivering and supporting critical digital products.

This is a senior, hands‐on development role suited to someone with robust React Native and TypeScript experience who is comfortable working across both iOS and Android, including integration with native mobile technologies.
n The role You will work as part of an established multidisciplinary delivery team responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and supporting secure, accessible and reliable mobile applications.

Key responsibilities include:

- Design, build, deploy and support mobile applications and integrations.
n
- Develop across both iOS and Android using React Native and TypeScript.
n
- Work with native mobile technologies including Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective‐C.
n
- Ensure solutions meet architectural, security and accessibility standards.
n
- Participate actively in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
n
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI designers, QA specialists and other technical teams.
n
- Work closely with QA to establish effective test coverage using a shift‐left approach.
n
- Integrate mobile applications with REST and GraphQL APIs and supporting services.
n
- Contribute across the full SDLC, including technical design, development, deployment and ongoing support.

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Extensive commercial experience developing and releasing React Native applications across both iOS and Android.
n
- Strong TypeScript experience.
n
- Experience with Expo, ideally including Expo Modules.
n
- Proven experience bridging React Native applications with native technologies such as Kotlin, Java, Swift and/or Objective‐C.
n
- Experience maintaining and improving large, complex codebases.
n
- Strong understanding of mobile accessibility, including WCAG 2.1 and Apple/Google accessibility guidelines.
n
- Experience developing automated unit, component, integration and functional tests.
n
- Strong experience integrating applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication services and monitoring/metrics tooling.
n
- Experience converting UI designs into high‐quality mobile components and collaborating closely with UX/UI designers.
n

n

Experience with GitHub CI/CD, Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Go and backend JavaScript/TypeScript will be highly regarded.

n

Exposure to modern AI‐assisted development practices, including spec‐driven development, will also be advantageous.

n

Candidates must be comfortable working in a senior delivery environment and contributing across the full software development lifecycle.
