Packaging & Warehouse Officer Murwillumbah - Sunshine Sugar Condong Mill

Due to an internal movement, we are looking for a new Packaging and Warehousing Officer based at the Murwillumbah retail plant.

About the role

You’ll play a key role in coordinating product distribution, managing inventory, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring customers receive orders safely and on time. This is a varied role that combines hands‑on warehouse activities with planning, administration, inventory management, and stakeholder coordination

Reporting to the Packaging & Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient packaging, storage and dispatch of sugar products while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse operations. You will also provide relief support to the Supervisor when required.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate the distribution of sugar products in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Plan daily packing schedules for sugar products to meet customer and operational requirements
- Monitor and maintain packaging materials, finished goods and warehouse inventory levels
- Process and load customer orders
- Liaise with customers, freight companies, internal teams
- Preparation of reports and data entry
- Assist the Packaging and Warehouse supervisor as required

We arelooking for:

- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment




- Current Forklift ticket with experience in picking, loading and despatching orders onto freight transport
- Effective communication skills
- Robust computer literacy using MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience and competency with computer programs and a willingness to learn in house software programs
- Strong problem solving ability
- Ability to contribute to a team and work autonomously
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Outcome and/or results oriented
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple tight deadlines

The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening.
