Principal Architech (Dynamics, Ai & Power Platform)

We are partnering with an established Gold Coast technology business to recruit a Principal Architect who will become the senior technical authority within its growing AI and business solutions practice.

This is not a role where you create a diagram, hand it to the delivery team and disappear into another meeting.

You will design the architecture, contribute directly to complex development, solve high-level technical challenges and work alongside business leaders to turn client problems into commercially viable solutions.

What you’ll be doing…





- Designing and actively building enterprise solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure
- Developing complex automation solutions using Power Automate Cloud, Power Automate Desktop and RPA
- Creating custom integrations, connectors and data pipelines across Microsoft and third-party platforms
- Working with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure AI Search and up-to-date authentication frameworks
- Developing custom components using technologies such as C#, JavaScript, Liquid and PCF controls
- Architecting secure AI and Copilot solutions, including grounded AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation
- Establishing solid application lifecycle management, environment separation and solution-layering practices
- Leading technical discovery workshops with prospective and existing clients
- Translating business challenges into solution architectures, estimates and Statements of Work
- Presenting technical recommendations, commercial value and expected ROI to senior stakeholders
- Resolving complex technical escalations by working directly within code, integrations and automation workflows
- Reviewing architecture and code to reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability
- Mentoring senior and mid-level developers in engineering standards and advanced solution design

What we’re looking for…

You will bring solid hands-on experience across the Microsoft business applications and cloud ecosystem, including:

- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Power Platform




- Advanced Power Automate Cloud and Desktop development
- Dynamics 365 architecture and extension experience
- Dataverse relational data modelling and schema design
- Power Pages configuration and development
- Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management and Azure AI services
- Custom API integration and authentication, including OAuth 2.0
- C# plugins, JavaScript, Liquid and custom component development
- Application lifecycle management across development, test and production environments
- Experience designing secure enterprise automation and AI solutions
- The ability to diagnose and permanently resolve complex delivery issues

Experience integrating disconnected platforms such as CRM, finance, document management and other SaaS systems will be highly regarded.

Technical depth is essential, but this role also needs someone who can operate commercially.

- Challenging unclear or unrealistic requirements
- Producing accurate estimates and technical scopes
- Explaining complex architecture in straightforward business language
- Presenting to executives and financial decision-makers
- Demonstrating the commercial value of a proposed solution
- Working through unfamiliar APIs and legacy environments
- Mentoring developers without needing formal people-management responsibility

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, PL-600
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, PL-400
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-305

Certifications are valued, but they will not replace genuine hands-on architecture and development capability.
