The Opportunity:

n

We currently have available Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic positions at our Campbellfield depot that requires suitably skilled people. As a valued employee of Direct Freight Express you will have uniforms supplied & laundered, be paid an above award wage, given access to ongoing overtime and work in a friendly environment.

n

Location: Campbellfield, VIC
n Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30PM(subject to change)O/time available

n

These positions will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

n

n
- Perform routine servicing and vehicle inspections
n
- Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake repairs
n
- Complete mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system work
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
n
- Accurately record all maintenance and service activities
n

n

In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

n





n
- Experience with trucks and trailers(essential)- primarily working on Kenworth/ISUZU/Cummins
n
- Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
n
- Strong understanding of OH&S;/WHS procedures and safety protocols
n
- High level of reliability, honesty, and professionalism
n
- Excellent attention to detail and solid work ethic
n
- Forklift license (desirable)
n
- HR/HC license preferred but not essential
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- A solid attitude and pride in workmanship
n
