Psychologists within the Clinical Services & Program Integration team deliver high-quality, face-to-face psychological therapy and assessment services within TBMH's neuroscience-informed, multidisciplinary model of care. This position is ideally suited to an experienced and autonomous clinician who demonstrates clinical maturity, advanced formulation skills, and the capacity to confidently manage complex presentations with professionalism and sound clinical judgment. While the primary focus of the role is the delivery of evidence-based therapy and comprehensive psychological assessment, the Psychologist also plays a key role in broader service development initiatives. This includes contributing to program design, clinical pathway development, multidisciplinary integration, and continuous quality improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

- Provide face-to-face psychological therapy across the lifespan
- Develop formulation-driven treatment plans aligned with best practice and client goals
- Apply evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT-informed and trauma-focused therapies
- Manage an autonomous caseload while maintaining high ethical and professional standards
- Provide clear, timely and high-quality documentation and correspondence
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, DVA, NDIS and other relevant funding frameworks
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments
- Administer and interpret psychometric tools where appropriate
- Contribute to the development and refinement of treatment programs
- Support integration of psychology within psychiatry, neuromodulation, lifestyle medicine and research services

About you

- Registration as a Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA




- Minimum 5 years post-registration clinical experience (or demonstrated equivalent clinical maturity)
- Experience in providing evidence-based therapy and structured assessment
- Commitment to CPD and supervision in line with AHPRA requirements
- Ability to obtain required compliance clearances (Criminal History Check, Blue Card, Yellow Card)
- Experience working within Medicare / DVA / Workcover / NDIS frameworks
- Experience contributing to program development or service design
- Familiarity with outcome measurement and quality improvement processes
- Experience in multidisciplinary healthcare environments
