Job Description

Working in a motivated team, you'll provide financial and commercial support to the Environmental Services team, focusing on tender support, analytics, operational data analysis, and commercial contractual guidance. In your day-to-day activities, enhance internal reporting and financial models to improve decision-making and deliver value to both customers and the business

This is a permanent full time role based on-site at our Keysborough, Victoria office.

- Liaise directly with senior stakeholders across the business

What you'll be responsible for

n

n
- Develop commercial models, pricing strategies and methodologies for large tenders and national rate reviews
n
- Analyse cost drivers and their impact on pricing to support tender submissions and business decisions
n
- Provide financial mentoring, advice and reporting to stakeholders across the business
n
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging practices, developing systems and identifying profitability initiatives
n
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and commercial analysts while ensuring compliance with company policies
n
- Undertake financial analysis & variance reporting
n
- Assist in ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete & meeting accounting standards
n
- Support the development and review of assumptions for business planning and budgeting to ensure the function maximises its value creation
n

What you'll need to be successful

n





n
- Demonstrated experience within a commercial or financial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent and significant commercial experience
n
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheet
n
