We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our aged care team for night shifts. This role is ideal for an RN who is confident working independently overnight, providing high-quality clinical care and supporting residents and care staff in a safe and respectful setting.

Key responsibilities
n
Provide high-quality clinical care, including medication management, wound care and palliative care.
n
Assess residents and identify changes in health or behaviour, escalating concerns and updating care plans as required.
n
Develop and review individualised care plans in consultation with residents and families.
n
Liaise with families, medical practitioners and allied health professionals as required.
n
Manage clinical matters and day-to-day care activities during the night shift, escalating issues to the Clinical Care Manager when required.
n
Provide guidance,
supervision and support to care staff and Neighbourhood Leaders.
n
Coordinate after-hours staffing and allocate staff as required.
n
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality.
n
Promote a safe, respectful and positive environment.
n
Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
n
About you
n
Current unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in aged care.
n
Strong clinical assessment, communication and decision‐making skills.
n
Ability to work confidently and independently on night shifts.
n
Experience leading and supervising care staff.
n
Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC.
n
Compassionate, reliable and resident‐focused approach.
n
Good computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
n
