We are partnering with a manufacturing business,they are looking to appoint a Procurement Specialist to support the sourcing, supplier management and commercial performance of key packaging categories across the business.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative procurement team where you'll have genuine ownership of your categories, influence supplier strategy and work closely with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, quality and finance.

n

The Opportunity Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing packaging categories across a broad supplier network, ensuring the business has a reliable, cost-effective and sustainable supply base to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Managing sourcing and procurement activities across key packaging categories.
n
- Building and maintaining robust supplier relationships and performance standards.
n
- Leading supplier negotiations, tenders and commercial discussions.
n
- Identifying and delivering cost-saving and value improvement initiatives.
n
- Monitoring supplier performance, service levels and supply continuity.
n
- Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality and NPD teams.
n
- Supporting risk management and contingency planning across the supplier base.
n
- Contributing to category planning and procurement improvement initiatives.
n

About You

- WILLING TO RELOCATE TO GOLD COAST
n
- Experience within procurement, sourcing or supply chain inmanufacturing or retail environments.
n
- Solid commercial and financial acumen.
n
- Experience managing supplier relationships and confidence to run supplier reviews and manage categories independently.
n
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
n
- A data-driven approach to decision making, combined with innovative problem-solving skills.
n
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build credibility across all levels of a business.
