We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to work alongside our team and help run day-to-day warehouse operations.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role, working on the warehouse floor with the team while helping coordinate picking, dispatch and daily workflow.
n
We are looking for someone who takes pride in running a well organised, efficient warehouse and can set the standard for the team.
n
Responsibilities
n
Warehouse Operations (Hands-On)
n
Pick and pack customer orders
n
Load trucks and assist with dispatch
n
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
n
Maintain organised stock locations and work areas
n
Assist with managing daily workload to ensure orders are completed on time
n
Provide day-to-day leadership to warehouse staff
n
Coordinate picking, packing and dispatch activities
n
Ensure procedures and work standards are followed
n
Monitor picking accuracy, productivity and workflow
n
Support teamwork and maintain a robust work ethic on the warehouse floor
n
Assist with training and guidance of team members
n
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation
n
Support safety procedures, toolbox talks and hazard reporting
n
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow and warehouse layout
n
Help maintain a safe, productive and well-run warehouse environment
n
About You
n
You are an experienced warehouse operator or leading hand who naturally takes ownership of the floor and leads by example.
n
You are comfortable working alongside the team while helping keep operations organised, efficient and running smoothly.
n
Experience Required
n
Minimum 5 years warehouse experience
n
Strong picking and dispatch experience
n
Reliable with a strong work ethic
n
Good communication skills and Comfortable leading from the floor
n
Leading hand or supervisory experience
n
Microsoft office skills
n
