Rassco Fire is seeking an enthusiastic Entry‑Level Portable Fire Technician / Tester to join our team. This is a full‑time, permanent position based in Sydney, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fire protection industry. Previous fire industry experience is not essential but will be an advantage.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting scheduled inspections, testing and servicing of portable fire equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire blankets and hose reels
- Identifying and reporting defects and required repairs
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Assisting with the installation and replacement of fire equipment
- Providing professional and friendly service to clients
What we’re looking for
- A willingness to learn and develop within the fire protection industry
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Sydney metropolitan area
- Must be an Australian citizen with unrestricted work rights
