As a Casual Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work alongside and support our educators and teaching staff across Pearcedale Day Care & Kindergarten. This would be a great opportunity for an educator looking for flexible casual work while still having the prospect to become a familiar and valued member of our service.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the delivery of engaging, nurturing and play-based learning experiences
Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Supporting children's individual needs, interests, learning and development
Working collaboratively with educators across different rooms and age groups
Contributing to a safe, inclusive and welcoming workplace
Assisting with the day-to-day routines and operation of the service
Delivering effective early learning programs and evaluating their success
About you
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised qualification)
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR certification
Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
Current Working with Children Check
Current Child Safety Training through Gecko or willingness to complete this prior to commencement
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred; however, enthusiastic Diploma-qualified educators beginning their career are encouraged to apply
Must have the right to work in Australia
