Are you a Document Controller seeking a new chance in the Brisbane CBD. You will be working on projects across mining, energy, oil & gas and chemicals. You'll own the development, organisation and maintenance of both internal and client project documentation, working closely with technical teams to keep everything to standard. This isn't a high-volume, single-project grind. Here you'll get variety, moving across different projects rather than being stuck on the same slow-moving one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare, register and maintain controlled documents through SharePoint
- Manage project deliverables and their distribution across technical disciplines
- Administer client document management systems (SharePoint, ProjectWise, Meridian, Documentum, Aconex) to each client's standards
- Amend and write documents and processes, plus formatting and review support
- Provide document control training and advice across the business
- Support DMS implementation and metadata cleansing on client projects
- Keep on top of project plans, schedules, actions and deadlines
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years experience in document control
- Solid working knowledge of SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with at least one other DMS platform
- Exposure to mining, energy, oil & gas or chemicals highly regarded, not essential
- Sharp attention to detail and confidence interpreting standards, legislation and codes
- Comfortable holding your ground with stakeholders under pressure
- Genuinely adaptable, because project requirements shift fast and you're not above rolling your sleeves up
