We are partnering with a government organisation seeking an experienced Principal Finance Advisor (AO7) to lead the review, optimisation and implementation of improvements across finance and business processes.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior finance professional with robust business improvement, governance and stakeholder engagement experience who enjoys delivering practical solutions and driving operational efficiency.

The Role Reporting into a collaborative leadership team, you will:

n

- Analyse financial and administrative processes to identify opportunities for improvement
n
- Lead and implement finance and business process optimisation initiatives
n
- Strengthen financial governance, compliance and internal controls
n
- Prepare business cases, recommendations and improvement proposals
n
- Utilise financial systems and data to provide insights and support decision-making
n
- Partner with a broad range of internal stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
n

About You To be successful, you will demonstrate:

n

n
- Significant experience in finance, accounting or financial advisory roles
n




- Strong knowledge of financial governance, compliance and internal controls
n
- Experience leading business improvement, process review or transformation projects
n
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
n
- Experience working with financial systems, reporting tools and data analysis platforms
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n

Highly Desirable

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
n
- CPA or CA qualifications
n
- Previous government experience
n

n
