We are seeking a Retail Shop Assistant to join the team at Uniform Management Services in Hervey Bay, QLD. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service in our retail environment. As a Retail Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our business, ensuring customers receive a welcoming experience whilst browsing and purchasing our products. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and support in the retail sector.
Key responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, qualified assistance with their shopping needs
- Demonstrating product knowledge and recommending items based on customer requirements
- Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments
- Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing shop environment at all times
- Restocking shelves and displays with merchandise in an orderly manner
- Assisting with stock management and inventory checks as required
- Answering customer enquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Supporting promotional activities and seasonal displays
- Adhering to health, safety and company policies whilst on the shop floor
