Prestige Staffing is seeking a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join an established residential builder in the Mildura region.
n This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the construction industry while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Carpentry.
n Working alongside experienced and qualified tradespeople, you'll gain hands-on experience across a range of residential building projects and develop the practical skills needed to become a qualified carpenter.
n Previous carpentry experience is not essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.

About the Host Employer

Our host employer is an established and respected residential builder servicing the Mildura region.
n You'll be part of an experienced team and gain exposure to multiple stages of residential construction, providing a strong foundation for your future career in the trade.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist with residential house construction from slab through to handover.
n
- Construct wall frames, roof trusses and flooring systems.
n
- Assist with the installation of doors, windows, skirting, architraves and internal fit-out.
n
- Measure, mark and cut timber and other building materials.
n
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools.
n
- Learn to read and interpret building plans.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.
n
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades.
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
n

Essential Requirements

- White Card, or willingness to obtain one before commencement.
n
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.
n
