SEQH is looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our logging operation at our Hemmant depot.
This is a hands-on role working as part of our log yard crew. You'll be involved in preparing export logs, packing containers, washing logs and keeping the yard running safely and efficiently.
Want to move into heavy machinery? This role can be a great stepping stone into machinery operation for the right person. You'll work around heavy machinery and our experienced operators, giving you the prospect to learn more about the industry and develop your skills.

What you'll be doing
- Preparing and handling logs
- Packing export log containers
- Washing logs before packing
- Moving logs and materials around the yard
- Taking photos and recording container information
- General yard and site duties
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Working safely around trucks and heavy machinery
About you
You don't need previous logging experience - full training will be provided.
We're looking for people who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, dust and cold
- Safety-focused
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- Happy working as part of a team
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery
- Willing to learn
- Available for 6:00am starts
Previous experience in labouring, warehousing, transport, construction, logging, farming, landscaping or similar work is advantageous but not essential.
Important
Due to the 6:00am start time and location, applicants must have:
- current driver's licence
- Reliable transport
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical Assessment
