XL Precast is a busy and expanding precast concrete manufacturer based in Smithfield, NSW. We specialise in high-quality precast elements for commercial, industrial and civil projects across New South Wales. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our production team.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Concrete Finisher with proven experience operating power trowels and producing high-quality concrete finishes. This is a hands‑on role working within our precast manufacturing facility, finishing architectural and structural concrete products to a high standard.
Approximately 9:00am - 7:00pm
Monday to Friday
Saturdays as required
Full‑time position
Key Responsibilities
- Finishing precast concrete panels and elements to specification
- Operating power trowels and other finishing equipment
- Hand trowelling edges, penetrations and detailed areas
- Assisting with concrete placement and vibration as required
- Monitoring concrete set times and finishing requirements
- Identifying and rectifying surface defects where possible
- Maintaining quality standards throughout the finishing process
- Working safely and complying with all site procedures
- Assisting with general production activities as required
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher
- Experience operating power trowels is essential
- Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and surface quality requirements
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Previous precast concrete experience will be highly regarded.
