Hervey Bay Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Express Lane Technician to join our growing Service team. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in delivering quality work, enjoys interacting with a busy workshop environment, and is committed to ensuring every customer receives an exceptional service experience.

About the role
n
As an Express Lane Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and minor repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care. You'll play a key role in helping customers keep their vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy while supporting the overall success of the Service Department.

Key responsibilities

- Performing logbook servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
n
- Conducting vehicle health checks and safety inspections.
n
- Completing repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
n
- Diagnosing basic mechanical concerns and communicating findings clearly.
n
- Accurately completing repair orders and workshop documentation.
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
n
- Caring for customer vehicles and ensuring they are returned in excellent condition.
n
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements and dealership procedures.

- Current driver's licence.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop.
