About the Role

Due to the continued growth of our operations, we are seeking an experienced and fully accredited Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) to join our team.

This is a highly technical and autonomous role suited to an experienced assessor who is confident making compliance decisions, interpreting legislation and standards, and providing professional advice to clients.

As a Fire Safety Assessor, you will play an important role in ensuring the ongoing compliance and integrity of our NSW portfolio. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, audits and assessments, preparing certification documentation and identifying areas requiring rectification or further investigation.

You will work closely with our Operations Manager, clients, contractors and internal team,



while having the autonomy to manage your workload and deliver high quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Conducting fire safety inspections, audits and compliance assessments across multiple sites
- Assessing essential fire safety measures and determining compliance with applicable requirements
- Preparing, reviewing and completing Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) assessment and certification documentation
- Identifying defects, non-compliances and potential risks and providing clear rectification recommendations
- Reviewing existing fire safety systems, documentation and maintenance records
- Interpreting and applying relevant Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and NSW legislation
- Providing technical advice and guidance to clients regarding fire safety compliance
- Liaising with clients, building managers, strata managers, contractors and other stakeholders
- Reviewing rectification works and determining whether identified issues have been appropriately addressed
- Maintaining accurate assessment and compliance records
- Ensuring all work is completed professionally, accurately and within required timeframes
- Keeping up to date with changes to legislation, Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and industry practices
- Supporting the Operations Manager with technical and compliance matters
- Contributing to continuous improvement of All Aussie Fire's processes, systems and service delivery
- Supporting operational and safety initiatives across the business
- Representing All Aussie Fire professionally and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with company policies, procedures and WHS requirements

About You

We are looking for a highly competent and professional Fire Safety Assessor who takes ownership of their work and understands the importance of accurate, defensible and compliant assessments.

You will be someone who is comfortable working autonomously, making technical decisions and communicating those decisions clearly to clients and other stakeholders.

You will ideally have:





- Current FPA Australia accreditation as a Fire Safety Assessor across all relevant fire safety measures
- Strong experience within the fire protection and fire safety industry
- Proven experience conducting fire safety inspections, audits and assessments
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and NSW regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of the NCC/BCA and fire safety certification requirements
- Excellent technical interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to confidently identify and assess compliance issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- A skilled and customer focused approach
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A current driver's licence
