About the role:

n

An prospect for an experienced support worker, EEN or nurse (student or qualified) to work with a patient with advanced motor neuoeron disease. The patient has tracheostomy, PEG, ventiation, suction, and the only ability to communicate is with eyeball gauze.

n

Workers should have extensive experience with PEG, ventilation and respiratory management, having worked with other complex non-ambulant patients in the past in a home care setting.

n

To join the team you will:

n

Live within 30minutes of Caroline Springs

n





Have extensive experience with respiratory management inc ventiation and suction, manual handling and PEG feeding

n

Instrinsic common sense and initate

n

2 set shifts per week 7am to 3pm

n

We are looking for an immediate start for the right candidate.

n

You must have:

n

Valid Australian Driver's License

n

Valid CPR Certificate

n

Proof of rights to work in Australia

n

NDIS Worker Screener Check

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

Relevant experience in community disability care ideally with patients who have no or limited movement and require respiratory support

n

Reliable and abiltiy to commit to 2 set shifts per week and assit with covers

n

Exceptional critical thinking

n

This position pays $50ph weekdays with penalities applicable for nights and weekends as per award.
