About The Role
The Field Operator (Trades Assistant Facilities)
plays a hands-on role in maintaining and improving Council's diverse range of buildings and community facilities. Working as part of the Facilities team, the position undertakes a variety of general building maintenance and minor construction activities, including painting, carpentry assistance, basic plumbing maintenance, repairs and other practical works.
This is a diverse role working across Council facilities throughout the Clarence Valley and is ideally suited to someone who enjoys practical work, working as part of a team and taking pride in delivering quality outcomes for the community.
If you have experience in building maintenance, minor carpentry, painting, construction or a similar hands-on role, and hold a MR licence and White Card, we encourage you to review the Position Description and submit an application addressing the selection criteria and uploading required supporting documents.
This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future. A probation period applies to this position.
