ABOUT URBAN TIDE PLUMBING

n

We're a busy maintenance and compliance plumbing business working primarily for property managers, real estate agencies and landlords across Melbourne's south‐east. Our days are reactive maintenance, breakdowns, and rental compliance — not current‐build sites. Every job is booked, dispatched and documented through ServiceM8, with on‐site inspections captured in SafetyCulture, so the admin is tight and the paperwork doesn't follow you home.

The role

n

You'll be running your own van, attending 4–8 maintenance jobs a day across tenanted and owner‐occupied properties. Typical work:

n

- Burst pipes,



leaks and leak detection (thermal imaging — training provided if you haven't used it)
n
- Blocked drains, CCTV and drain clearing
n
- Hot water system repairs and changeovers (gas, electric, heat pump)
n
- Tap, toilet, mixer and fixture repairs and replacements
n
- Roof leaks, gutters and stormwater
n
- Gas appliance work and gas safety checks
n
- Victorian rental minimum standards inspections and rectification
n
- General reactive maintenance and writing up follow‐up quotes
n

What you need

n

n
- VBA registered or licensed plumber (Victoria)
n
- Gas licence highly regarded (or willingness to get it)
n
- Maintenance / service plumbing experience — you can diagnose, price and fix without hand‐holding
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Comfortable using a phone/tablet for job notes, photos and inspections (we'll train you on ServiceM8 + SafetyCulture)
n
- Good with tenants and property managers — clear, polite, on time
n
- Police check (or willing to obtain)
