Southside Landscape Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a full time Qualified Leading Hand Landscaper to join our dynamic team in Geelong, VIC. As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality landscaping projects that enhance the natural beauty of the local area.

- Full-time position with a 38-hour work week. Early finish most fridays!

- Competitive hourly rate of $40, plus super

- $200 weekly fuel allowance

What you'll be doing

n

Working as a team leader to deliver high quality projects

n

Self managing time and communicating with clients

n

Placing orders and organisation of sites

n

Delivering high quality outcomes throughout projects

n





Problem solving to overcome obstacles

n

Using technical skills to construct both hard and soft landscapes

n

Delegating tasks and assuring construction processes run smoothly

n

What we're looking for

n

Formal qualification in Landscaping or relevant employment history in the industry for 4 year minimum

n

Team leading and organisational

n

Proven experience in landscape construction, including the installation of hardscaping and softscaping elements

n

Strong technical skills in areas such as reading plans, operating power tools and heavy machinery, and applying landscaping techniques

n

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges on-site

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and work effectively in a team

n

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required

n

Immediate start with an initial 3 month trial period
