Wisdom Works Health Experts is a new multidisciplinary healthcare centre opening in October 2026 in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria. Our aim is to provide accessible, patient-centred healthcare to individuals and families within the local and surrounding communities.

The centre will bring together general practice, physiotherapy and other healthcare services in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis and play an important role in both clinical care and the day-to-day coordination of the practice. The Role

The Role

n

This is a varied part-time role suited to a Nurse Practitioner who enjoys both hands‐on clinical work and supporting the development and smooth operation of a new healthcare practice . The successful candidate will work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals and provide clinical services within their approved scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

n

Provide clinical assessment, treatment and management within approved NP scope of practice

n

Support GPs and other practitioners with appropriate clinical tasks and patient care

n

Provide immunisations and vaccinations within scope and relevant protocols

n

Perform minor procedures and wound care within scope of practice and level of competency

n





Assist with minor surgical procedures where appropriately trained and within scope

n

Assist with health assessments, preventive healthcare and patient education

n

Support chronic disease management and ongoing patient care where appropriate

n

Assist with triage, patient assessment and appropriate care pathways

n

Coordinate referrals, follow-up and communication with other healthcare providers where required

n

Assist with clinical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records

n

Support infection prevention and control procedures

n

Assist with clinical equipment, emergency preparedness and stock management

n

Help establish and maintain clinical protocols, workflows and practice procedures

n

Support quality improvement, clinical governance and compliance activities

n

Assist with practitioner coordination and day‐to‐step clinical workflow

n

Work collaboratively with GPs, physiotherapists, reception and other healthcare staff

n

Assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the practice

n

Contribute to the development of the practice as services and patient numbers grow

n

Undertake other appropriate clinical and practice-support responsibilities within scope and competency

n
