Key Responsibilities

- PerformMIGweldingonheavyindustrialcomponents
n
- Readandinterpretfabricationdrawingsandtechnicalplans
n
- Fabricate,assembleandrepairmetalproductstorequiredspecifications
n
- Completeproductionandqualitydocumentationaccurately
n
- Operateworkshopequipmentandtoolssafelyandefficiently
n
- Maintainacleanandorganisedworkarea
n
- Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes
n




- Meetproductionscheduleswhilemaintaininghigh-qualityworkmanship
n
- Workindependentlywithminimalsupervision
n
- Assistwithgeneralworkshopdutiesasrequired

Requirements & Eligibility

- RecentexperienceinMIGweldingwithinaheavyindustrialorfabricationenvironment
n
- Abilitytosuccessfullycompleteapracticalweldingtest
n
- Experiencereadingandinterpretingfabricationdrawings
n
- Previousexperienceworkinginaworkshopenvironment
n
- Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoquality
n
- Abilitytoworklongshiftsandperformphysicallydemandingtasks
n
- Goodcommunicationandrecord-keepingskills
n
- Reliable,punctualandabletoworkindependently
n
- Validdriver'slicencepreferred
n
- Forkliftlicenceadvantageousbutnotessential

- Experienceoperatinganoverheadcraneisdesirable

- WhiteCardisadvantageous
