Business Development Manager - Exhibitions & Sponsorships
ARBS Exhibitions is a respected not-for-profit organisation supporting the HVAC&R; and building services industries through education, innovation and connection. Its biennial exhibition brings industry professionals together to discover emerging technologies, exchange ideas and build valuable industry relationships.
About the Role
Take ownership of new business growth across exhibitions, sponsorships and advertising. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll build and convert a strong commercial pipeline across Australian and international markets while helping establish and shape ARBS’ first dedicated Business Development function.
Duties
Identify and win recent exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers and industry partners.
Grow participation across HVAC&R;, building services and relevant adjacent sectors.
Develop tailored sponsorship, advertising and partnership opportunities.
Build and execute domestic and international prospecting strategies.
Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing commercial partners.
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline through Zoho CRM.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
Strong prospecting,
networking and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
Commercially astute, with the ability to translate client needs into compelling solutions.
Confident managing opportunities from initial prospecting through to negotiation and close.
Existing networks across exhibitions, events, sponsorship, media or the built environment will be highly regarded.
